THE LATEST research from carwow has revealed Coventry is the best equipped city in the UK for electric vehicle owners, with more public EV chargers per capita than any other city.
Coventry has one public EV charger for every 890 residents and – to help the many people planning on moving – carwow has created an electric vehicle charging map detailing how many electric chargers are located in each area.
Sepi Arani, Director of OEM at carwow.co.uk, said: “Public charging facilities are popping up by the day across the country, but it’s fitting that Coventry, a city with a huge automotive history, is leading the race for the most public chargers per capita.
“More people than ever are on the verge of a switch to EVs which is why we built this tool to make it easier for people to find chargers when they’re out and about.”
