RESIDENTS at Clarendon House Care Home in Allesley Village have been assembling packs to distribute to the homeless.
The campaign is in conjunction with Hand on Heart Trust which is aiming to hand out 1,700 essential packs in 23 locations across the UK, working alongside 23 charities and organisations.
In total, more than 60 families, children from three schools, a scouts club, a senior citizens’ group are taking part, as well as Clarendon House.
The packs – containing 23,800 items – will go to vulnerable people on the streets and shelters in desperate need of clean clothes and hygiene items many of us take for granted.
The day of Clarendon House Care Home was overseen by manager Rachel Pomeroy and activities co-ordinator Julia Stasinska.
