A GROUP of pubs in the West Midlands are asking customers to donate advent calendars this year in the lead up to Christmas.
24 Proper Pubs are taking part – including Sovereign in Coventry and the Hare and Hounds in Nuneaton.
The calendars can be dropped off until November 24 – they will then be donated to local charities.
Over the past two years, Proper Pubs has donated almost 40,000 Christmas selection boxes to local charities.
