Ricoh appoints specialist staffing company for events

THE RICOH Arena has appointed a specialist registration and staffing company following growing demands for its events, exhibitions and conferences.

A total of 695 events and meetings were held in 2015 throughout the multi-purpose venue from niche trade shows to conferences hosted by global giants.

Now, the Ricoh Arena has appointed award-winning event registration, websites and staffing provider LiveBuzz as its preferred supplier.

LiveBuzz, whose head office is based just ten minutes from the Ricoh Arena, has already supplied registration services to several leading exhibitions and conferences that took place at the Ricoh Arena.

Andy Cox, head of events services at the Ricoh, said: “We believe LiveBuzz has the credentials and experience to help our event organiser clients with these key services which are crucial to the success of their events.”

Chris Hartley, sales director of LiveBuzz, said: “We’re delighted with this appointment because we’ve always enjoyed working at the Ricoh Arena.

“This agreement paves the way for us to work more collaboratively with the Ricoh’s in-house team to deliver state-of-the-art registration services and equally high levels of customer support to the growing number of events organisers.”
