A SELF-PORTRAIT by paedophile Rolf Harris has been found on the walls of Coventry University, despite the singer being convicted of a series of indecent assaults.
The picture was drawn by child abuser Rolf himself when he played at the Priory Building, formerly the student’s union, in 1995.
And despite the walls having been re-painted a number of times over the years, the serial sex offender’s drawing has remained untouched.
Former student Joe Rukin, who spotted the picture, said: “I was surprised that it was still here after all the years.
“So much has changed at the university, but it is strange that it is one of the few things that had not.
“As a university you have a duty of care over young people, so keeping the picture seems incompatible with that role.”
A spokesperson from the university said they were aware of the drawing and are in the process of having it removed.
Harris is serving a five-year prison sentence after being found guilty of 12 counts of indecent assault in 2014.
He is also currently on trial facing further charges.
