TICKETS for the Rolling Stones’ Coventry concert will be released on Thursday (March 15) at 9am, as we reported earlier today.
The band’s promoters and the Ricoh Arena this afternoon officially announced the legendary rock band will play the Ricoh Arena on June 2 and ticket details, as we reported earlier today, were anticipated.
The band’s No Filter tour, their first in five years, has scheduled performances across the UK in May and June.
Tickets for other venues have sold out very soon after going on sale.
The second part of the No Filter tour will see the Stones perform hits such as Paint It Black and Brown Sugar as well as some surprise tracks.
Mick Jagger commented: “It’s great that we’ll be playing even more UK venues where we’ve never played before. Look out Southampton and Coventry, we’ll see you this summer.”
Keith Richards commented: “Bring it on, two more shows for our UK fans. Can’t wait.”
The No Filter tour kicks off in Dublin on May 17 and then heads for the UK – two shows at the London Stadium, Southampton, Coventry, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff, a third London show at Twickenham Stadium, plus Berlin, Marseille, Stuttgart, Prague & Warsaw.
Coventry is already celebrating its UK City of Culture 2021 triumph and landing the BBC’s Biggest Weekend concert at the War Memorial Park in May 27 and 28 which will feature Liam Gallagher, the Stereophonics and Snow Patrol.
