Coventry Editorial 4th Jun, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

CYCLISTS will be taking to the roads this weekend for the 22nd running of the Rugby and Coventry Bikeathon.

Bikers of all ages can complete the familiar ten mile route, challenge themselves with the marathon 26-mile circuit or those seeking a stiffer challenge can test their ability on the tougher 65 mile adventure route.

The annual event – which takes place on Sunday (June 5) – will once again support Bloodwise, the UK’s biggest blood cancer charity with the aim to help those living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood disorders.

All profits from the entrance fee and sponsorship money raised will be passed on to Bloodwise.

Entry is £15 for adults, £5 for children under ten or a family ticket – two adults, two children – can be purchased for £35.

Those wishing to enter should visit www.rugbybikeathon.co.uk.
