COVENTRY resident Jason Stevens and friend Cameron Lund have completed the latest leg in their ultimate half marathon challenge to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The pair have already completed half marathon events in Paris, Davos, Barcelona and more – however since last featuring in The Observer both Jason and Cameron have completed the Dublin half marathon with guest runner Ruth Wainwright.
Jason said: “Phoenix Park is twice the size of Central Park in New York – it was an incredible place to finish our eighth marathon.
“We started our raceday with bacon and cabbage, it’s safe to say we stuck to the Irish traditions as we ended the half marathon with a pint of the black stuff.
“We have four half marathons to go and we’ve just passed the £2,000 fundraising mark which is superb.”
Jason and Cameron will be hosting a fundraising evening on Sunday (September 25) at the Bluebell Cafe in London.
