SACRED Heart Catholic School retained their trophy as pupils from Catholic Primary Schools across Coventry went head-to-head in the Catholic Schools Swimming Gala.
Some 17 schools took part in the gala as all of the children showed determination, drive and enthusiasm to create an electric atmosphere at Pingles Leisure Centre in Nuneaton.
Following a close set of heats in the morning, the final eight schools advanced through to the finals.
Sacred Heart won the East side of the draw while All Souls won the West side of the draw with St. John Fisher and St. John Vianney the runners-up respectively.
And Sacred Heart claimed a third successive Catholic Schools Swimming Gala title, following the completion of the afternoon finals, with Holy Family in second place and All Souls in third.
