Santa starting his rounds early in Warwickshire in aid of The Myton Hospices

SANTA is beginning his rounds early to bank cash for The Myton Hospices.

Accompanied by his elves, he will be riding his sleigh through the streets of Warwickshire, while collecting much-needed funds to help the hospices, based in Warwick, Coventry and Rugby, provide care for patients and their families who are living with life-limiting illnesses.

He will be dashing through the streets of Warwick during the evenings in the first half of December, stopping off at Warwick Gates on December 1, Myton Road on December 3, Chase Meadow on December 9 and The Woodloes on December 11.

Santa will also be pulling up during the day at Warwick Square in Warwick on December 6, Morrisons in Leamington on December 16, Tesco in Warwick on December 19, Asda in Leamington on December 20, Tesco at Crosspoint in Coventry on December 21, Tesco on Clifford Bridge Road in Coventry on December 22, and Sainsburys in Warwick on December 23.

Community fundraiser Louise Careless said: “Christmas is always a special time for us here at Myton, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be touring with our Santa Sleigh again this year. For some of the people we care for, this Christmas may be the last they spend with their loved ones, and every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us make these precious moments as special as possible.”
