THERE will be lederhosen, German beer in tankards and steins, sausages and Oompah bands aplenty when an Oktoberfest event takes place at Coventry’s Rialto Plaza.
After the success of a sold-out event in 2019, the venue will be transformed again for Germany’s famous Bavarian festival.
The event – on October 16 – will become a Bavarian style blue and white Bier Halle – with disco balls, chandeliers and multi-coloured drapes, bench tables and a huge stage for live music.
This Bavarian-style beer festival in Coventry will be buzzing with live music, unlimited beer steins, dancing, authentic German catering and a host of entertainment.
The saying goes that ‘to drink beer like a German one must eat like a German’ so The Rialto will be serving mouth-watering Bavarian classics – from Bratwurst and sauerkraut balls to Frankfurters, ‘Brats in Blankets’ and much more!
Oktoberfest brings traditional German acts to Coventry, from Oompah bands and dancers to party games and singalongs.
James Penny, event programmer at the Rialto Plaza said.: “Everyone has missed opportunities to meet up and enjoy each other’s company this year.
“What better way to get back together than a full-on night of beer-drinking, sausage-eating, lederhosen-wearing, table-dancing, merry-making!”
