TALENTED city photographers will be able to showcase their skills and celebrate their local area in the ‘Coventry Views’ competition.
The contest is run by Healthwatch Coventry and asks the city’s super snappers to capture community spaces or other areas which are important to them.
Judges are particularly looking for photographs of community-based, unusual areas of Coventry.
Healthwatch Coventry is a health and social care champion and is holding this competition as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations.
To mark this special birthday, Healthwatch is also looking for images involving the number 10. Anyone living in Coventry can enter up to three photographs each.
The winner will be judged as the most interesting and inventive that captures the city.
The snap will appear on the Healthwatch Coventry website, in its annual report and on its social media channels.
First prize will receive a £100 shopping voucher, with second and third place receiving £70 and £40 to spend in the shops.
It is hoped Coventrians getting out and about in their neighbourhoods and green spaces to take pictures will help their wellbeing.
People will have until June 1 to submit their entries.
