A SHOTGUN has been fired at the front door of a Coventry home.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said yesterday (July 8): “We are investigating after a shotgun was fired at an address in Howlette Road, Coventry.
“Officers were called at 5.20pm today (Monday) to reports that a front door had been damaged by the shot.
“No one was injured. Initial enquiries have led officers to believe that the shooting was a case of mistaken identity.
