DETECTIVES investigating an assault in Tile Hill Woods have released a sketch of a man they want to speak to.

A 44-year-old woman was pulled to the floor in the attack at around 3.15pm on Thursday, September 4, having been approached by a man. She had been walking her dogs, one of which scared the man off.

Police have described the man as white, aged around 30 and about 5ft 10in tall. He has short, dark brown hair and was wearing a black Nike shell suit. He is further described as having a ‘puffy’ face.

Inspector Jo Floyd, from Coventry Police, said: “Immediately after this assault happened we sent officers to the woods but unfortunately we were unable to locate the offender.

“The woman was able to provide us with a detailed description of the man and we are now releasing this image in a bid to track him down.”

Anyone who has information about the assault or who thinks they recognise the man in the sketch is it asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
