A COVENTRY housebuilder has raised almost £2,000 for Cancer Research UK, through a charity walk by five members of the land and planning team, writes Oscar Bland.
The members from Bellway South Midlands trekked over nine miles between two of the firm’s housing developments.
Land director Dan Forrester, land manager Christy Mclean, land buyer Jack Polson, regional estimator Rob Perkins, and land graduate Alice Fish made their way from Staverton Lodge, Daventry, to Houlton Meadows in Rugby.
The five walkers raised £995 on the day which Bellway doubled to give a grand total of £1,910.
Since Bellway partnered with Cancer Research in 2016, it has raised £2million for the charity and is aiming to reach £3million by the end of 2023 as part of its ‘3 for 23’ campaign.
The team thanked everyone who donated and took part.
