Sports Fest coming to Coventry later this month

Coventry Editorial 12th Jul, 2023   0

SPORTS Fest will be returning to Broadgate later this month with plenty of free activities to get Coventrians moving.

The six-day event will be back between July 25 and July 30 and will feature a wide range of sports and well-being activities suitable for all ages and abilities.

Activities will include cheerleading, judo, rugby, table tennis and goal ball and will run between 10am and 4pm each day.

Each morning will start with a ‘quiet hour’ for those who want to enjoy the sporting fun in a relaxed environment.

Last year’s 10th-anniversary event attracted more than 15,000 people across six days.

Sports Fest will be run by the city council and CV Life.

CV Life’s community engagement manager, Wendy Jackson, said: “As always, the event is going to be great and I hope we get to see lots of happy faces and families enjoy what will be on offer.

“We hope to see as many people enjoy the week of free activities and get as many people as possible active outdoors this summer holiday.”
