THE SPOTLIGHT shone on pupils at a Coventry primary school as they delivered a heartfelt send-off to the school year with a performance of Oliver Twist.
Children in Y6 at St Peter and Paul Catholic Primary School wowed parents, staff and the wider school community with their vibrant performance of the Dickens classic.
The production was the culmination of weeks of hard work and rehearsals – with many of the pupils performing on stage for the first time.
Y6 class teacher Mrs Hall said: ‘We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 children. Their performance of Oliver Twist was a real highlight of the school year and a testament to their hard work, talent and team spirit. It was wonderful to see them perform with such confidence and joy.”
