THERE is still chance to see Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ at Coventry’s Albany theatre.

The production has already become the venue’s most successful show ever, breaking all records and selling more than £100,000 worth of tickets.

Chief executive and artistic director Kevin Shaw said: “We brought back ‘A Christmas Carol’ in response to demand.

“So many people missed out last year because of Omicron we decided to recreate this popular show.”

David Meredith, Chair of the Albany Theatre Trust, said he was thrilled, adding Kevin had built on last year’s excellent production.

“The show’s financial success will help us not only get through the current economic challenges we all face but also to continue to build for the future.”

Tickets – at £16 to £19 – are available for the remaining shows – 2pm matinees on December 23, 24 and 26 and 7pm shows apart from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
