COVENTRY’S HMV Empire will play host to The Stone Roses’ Ian Brown on May 24 this year.
The dates will precede the singer’s headline appearances at ‘Live At The Big Top’ in Warrington as part of the Neighbourhood Weekender Festival on May 26 and In Between Days at Times Square in Newcastle on May 27.
Brown, a singer and multi-instrumentalist, began his solo career in 1996 after the band split.
So far he has released seven studio albums, a greatest hits compilation, a remix album, an 11-disc boxset and 19 singles.
Tickets for Ian Brown’s UK headline dates, including Coventry, go on sale at 9.30am on Friday, March 31, via Eventim, gigsandtours.com and ticketmaster.co.uk
