Submit your postcard-sized art in Coventry charity auction

Coventry Editorial 11th Dec, 2023   0

COVENTRY Artspace is looking to raise vital funds for mental health charity Mind by hosting a festive fund-raising exhibition.

The exhibition is taking place at Arcadia Gallery with the Artspace working with local artist and curator Matthew Macaulay to organise it.

Anyone who wants to take part can donate a postcard-sized, unframed piece of art, which will be auctioned off and all cash going to the charity.

The postcards will be sold via a silent auction on Friday (December 15), with participants placing their bids silently on paper sheets or digitally, next to each item.

The highest bidder at the end of the auction will win the item.

There will be opening times to view the sold-off artwork on Saturday and Sunday.

Anyone who wants to donate a piece should drop it off at the reception of Eaton House near Coventry Railway station by Thursday, December 14.

Address the envolope to Matthew Macaulay Floor 4, Eaton House, 1 Eaton Rd, Coventry CV1 2FJ, United Kingdom
