HOME secretary Suella Braverman visited Coventry blast last week to see five unconnected warrants, during which around £850,000 worth of cannabis was seized.
West Midlands Chief Constable Craig Guildford also joined officers on the raids as part of County Lines Intensification Week.
In total, 73 people were arrested across the region on suspicion of being involved in county lines drug supply chains as part of the week of intensive action.
Dozens of warrants were executed, with more than 440g of crack cocaine and cocaine seized along with over 100g of heroin, nearly 1,700 cannabis plants along with almost £15,000 in cash.
This resulted in 23 deal lines being shut down.
Six machetes, 45 knives and five hammers were also seized along with a crossbow, axes and baseball bats.
Police also visited schools and other establishments where we spoke to adults and children, raising awareness of county lines.
And they visited 19 addresses which were believed to be used for cuckooing, giving advice, making arrests and making sure the people living there were okay.
