A COVENTRY man has been charged in connection with two bank robberies in which customers were allegedly threatened at knifepoint.
Rashpal Singh, 39, of Elmsdale Avenue, Foleshill, has been charged with two counts of robbery.
It follows incidents at Coventry Building Society in Station Street East, Foleshill on Thursday February 14, and Barclays Bank on Fletchamstead Highway in Tile Hill, the following day.
The accused is set to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (February 18).
