A CAR crash on the Ansty Road last night (Wednesday) delayed traffic as emergency services worked to help clear the road.

Two cars collided at around 7.30pm – partially blocking the busy road in Wyken.

Three people were taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) with minor injuries – a 32-year-old woman with shoulder, neck and head injuries; a 59-year-old woman with neck and back pain; and a 27-year-old man complaining of abdominal and left wrist pain.

Two children, a boy aged 7 and a girl aged 11, travelling with the women in the silver car were uninjured.

Police helped keep traffic moving and the road was unblocked later that evening.

Twitter user  got in contact with the Observer and shared this video of the aftermath of the crash.
