COVENTRIANS will get the chance to have one last look at their old school building at West Coventry Academy before they move out at the end of this term.
The former Tile Hill Wood school site will be open to former students, staff and family members next Saturday, July 15.
A new multi-million rebuild of the academy is due to be completed in the next few months.
The £38.4million complete rebuild will include a brand new, state-of-the-art sports hall, also serving the local community.
The academy’s new buildings have been designed to reduce energy consumption and support the UK’s net zero by 2050 target.
The gates to the school site will be open for people to roam around between 10am and 11.30am.
A school spokesperson said: “From its days as Tile Hill Wood School to the current West Coventry Academy, we are sure that many people have memories of the site, that’s why we wanted to allow people to visit one last time.”
