Teenage boys arrested in connection with Nuneaton rape

POLICE investigating the rape of a teenage girl at Nuneaton Railway Station have arrested two suspects.

Two boys from the local area, aged 15 and 16, have been arrested on suspicion of rape.

The two suspects have been bailed until March while enquiries continue.

The investigation was launched following the attack at around 5.50pm on Sunday January 19.




Det Insp Owen Fell from Warwickshire Police said: “Enquiries have progressed at pace throughout the week.

“This has been a complex investigation with a teenage victim and teenage suspects, and I would like to thank the public for their support and understanding while we have conducted sensitive enquiries to locate these suspects.


“We continue to appeal for anyone with information to contact us.”
