A TEENAGER accused of stabbing a Coventry man has appeared in court.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested from an address in the Radford area on Monday, November 16 after a 25-year-old local man was assaulted in Barras Lane, Earlsdon just before 6.30pm on Friday, November 13.
The victim was taken to hospital and was treated for a wound to his lower back.
The youngster appeared at Coventry Magistrates Court charged with threatening a person with a bladed article and wounding with intent.
He was sent to crown court in youth detention and will appear before Coventry Crown Court on December 1.
