A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with causing the death of Coventry mother, Anna Downey.
Danielle Bartlett appeared before magistrates last week (Thursday, October 27) charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention whilst unfit through drink.
The 18-year-old, of Westleigh Road, Leicester, stood accused of causing the death of 42-year-old Coventry mother of two, Anna Downey, who killed when the taxi she was travelling in collided with Miss Bartlett’s Vauxhall Astra at the junction of Abbey Road and London Road in Coventry just after midnight on 11 October 2015.
Danielle Bartlett was granted conditional bail and will next appear at Warwick Crown Court on November 25.
