THREE teenagers were arrested after a boy was stabbed in Nuneaton around 9.50pm on Saturday night.
The 15-year-old suffered a stab wound to the back in the attack outside McDonald’s in Queens Road.
He was taken to hospital but, thankfully, his injuries are not thought to be serious.
A 14-year-old boy from Bedworth, 16-year-old boy from Nuneaton and a 17-year-old boy from Bedworth were all arrested on suspicion of assault. The 16-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis.
Detectives are investigating and are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information or CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage of the incident to come forward.
Det Sgt Rich Simpkins, of Nuneaton CID, said: “The victim was extremely fortunate not to have been badly injured in this incident and while we have made a number of arrests our enquiries are very much ongoing.”
He urged anyone with information to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
