THE LORD Mayor of Coventry’s annual peace lecture is set to take place next month at the Cathedral.
On November 6, the lecture will be given by Professor Nicola Pratt from Warwick university.
The subject of the lecture is: ‘Can there be Peace without Justice in the Middle East?’.
A time for questions and discussions will be available at the end of the lecture, aiming to shed light on how lasting peace is to be achieved.
Nicola Pratt is a professor of International Politics of the Middle East at the University of Warwick.
With over 25 years of experience researching the Middle East and North Africa, she focuses on amplifying the voices of marginalised groups, especially women, and examines how European colonialism and Western imperialism have shaped the region’s politics.
