Thieves take children's milk from gates of nursery in Coventry

Coventry Editorial 9th Jun, 2020   0

THIEVES have snatched milk meant for Coventry tots from the entrance of a nursery school.

Milk supplied by the Department of Health was discovered stolen this morning (June 9), at Georgie Porgie’s Pre-School in Briscoe Road, Holbrooks.

Nursery manager Katie George said: “Someone pinched all the children’s nursery milk from our gated holding area.

“They put their hands through and have taken all the children’s milk that gets delivered for the week.

“This was previously going on prior to the coronavirus pandemic, but it was the odd bottle – today it’s all been taken.

“Why would someone do this to children?”

Supplies of milk were resent by the government’s distributor Cool Milk.
