This years annual Big Sew Off has a hub in Coventry to raise cash for MIND

A COVENTRY HUB, run by Sandeep, known to many from ITV’s M&S: Dress The Nation, will be taking part in the 24-hour sewing challenge for charity.

As part of The Big Sew Off, an annual event supporting mental health charity Mind, Sandeep will join forces with sewing enthusiasts and industry personalities across the UK to sew clothes and raise cash.

Starting on November 7, at 10sam and running until 10am the next day, Sandeep and her team will be working tirelessly, stitching garments for Give Your Best, a charity that distributes donated clothing to those in need.

The Big Sew Off will also be live-streamed on YouTube, offering sewing fans and supporters the opportunity to follow the event as it unfolds, with live updates on Instagram through the official Big Sew Off account.

This year’s challenge comes after a successful 2023 event that raised over £14,000 for Mind.

With a goal to surpass last year’s achievement, the event organisers at Sew Over It have brought together sewing stars from all over the UK for this 24-hour sewing marathon, hosted at London’s New Craft House.

Supporters can tune into the live stream, donate through the JustGiving page, and enter a prize draw to win exclusive sewing-themed prizes.

For a chance to win, donors are encouraged to leave contact details along with their contributions.
