Three arrested after burglary in Coventry in which cash and jewellery was stolen

THREE men have been arrested after a burglary in Valencia Road, Coventry, on Friday afternoon.

Officers responded to reports that the trio had broken into the home around 2pm and had stolen jewellery and cash.

The three men fled and officers chased them down.

Two were arrested nearby and a third was held after being found in a Volkswagen in Brinklow Road.




The VW was also seized and has been sent off for forensic examinations.

The men, aged 25, 38 and 16, arrested on suspicion of burglary, were questioned and have been released on conditional bail as investigations continue.
