THREE more people have been arrested in connection with last month’s disorder in Coventry.
The arrests of those suspected of being involved on August 21 took place across the city yesterday.
Fireworks and other items were thrown at officers during the disorder and the events brought disruption in parts of the city.
Two people aged 17 and 23 were arrested on suspicion of affray, with both later released with strict bail conditions.
A 30-year-old man was arrested and later charged on suspicion of handling stolen property and driving offences.
He was remanded to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court today.
Detective Chief Inspector Ryan Chambers from Force CID, said: “Although our investigation continues to move at a fast pace, we still need the public to get in touch with any information they might have.
“Anyone who takes part in this type of behaviour needs to understand that they risk being arrested, charged with criminal offences and could potentially be jailed.”
