Three held after man suffered slash wound to the head outside Bedworth pub

A MAN suffered a slash wound to his head during an altercation in Bedworth on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers from Warwickshire Police responded to reports of the incident which happened outside the Mount Pleasant Public House, Leicester Street.

Three men – aged 18, 20 and 20 years – were arrested at the scene for alleged wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and affray.

All three are from Bedworth and it is believed they are all known to each other.
