THE TOP ten girls’ and boys’ baby names in Coventry have been revealed.
The research was carried out by protectivity.com using Office of National Statistics data from 2021 – the latest full year available.
The figures are based on babies registered during the 12 months of that year.
A total of 18 Amelias were registered in Coventry, making it the top girls’ name, followed by Olivia with 15 and Freya and Lilly joint third (13 each).
Making up the rest of the top 10 were Eva, Isla, Maya, Evie, Ava and Emily.
For boys, the top name was Leo with 24 registered in Coventry during 2021.
Next there were 20 Muhammeds, 19 Noahs and Olivers.
The rest of the top ten were Adam, Jacob, Arthur, Elijah, George and Theo.
Across the UK the most popular names were Noah and Olivia.
