A WARNING over dangers posed by children’s clothing sold at a Leamington shop has been issued by Trading Standards chiefs.
Three items of clothing sold by ‘Happyology’ in Regent Street, between September and March, have been recalled because of strangulation or entrapment hazards.
They include a knitted top with a cord attached to the hood, a dress with a belt and a baby coat with bunny ears attached to the hood.
Anyone who bought the items are advised to return them or cut off the cord or ears.
Officers say cases of cords being trapped in playground equipment and moving vehicles – even causing death by being dragged along or run over – have resulted in fatalities.
Visit www.happyology.uk for more details on the recall.
