A MAIN road in Coventry has reopened after an earlier oil spillage.
The southbound carriageway of the A46 between the B4082 near Coombe Abbey and the A428 at Binley Woods was shut. Drivers were advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
Diversions were put in place by National Highways officers who were on the scene.
The road was reopened after two hours.
