A POLICE pursuit from Exhall to Bedworth ended up with this stolen car overturning and two arrests.

Officers from Warwickshire OPU (Operational Patrol Unit) intercepted the Nissan Qashqai on the A444 last night after it failed to stop.

They pursued it into Bedworth where it crashed at the junction of Coventry Road and School Lane.

Two people ran from the vehicle. But, with the assistance from Police Dog Zena and officers from North Warwickshire, they were quickly apprehended and arrested.

The vehicle was cloned on false number plates and stolen in a keyless theft from Coventry on February 18.

It was also linked to a car-key burglary in Nuneaton where a property on Lutterworth Road was broken into and a BMW I4 was stolen.

The pair held last night were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking and burglary.
