TWO people have been arrested and £250,000 worth of cannabis was seized after police raided a property in Coventry.

The 155 plants and 10kilos of dried cannabis was found at the property in Hillfields after officers smashed their way in through the front door.

The two people held at the address were arrested for cultivation of cannabis and abstraction of electricity.

Officers said the electrics set-up was incredibly unsafe and risked an electrical fire, especially because water was regularly sprayed in the rooms to cultivate the plants.
