TWP PEOPLE have been arrested following an armed robbery in Coventry.
West Midlands Police arrested two teenagers within minutes of an armed robbery which happened today (June 11).
Officers were alerted to a man being threatened with a knife in Clay lane, Stoke just after 5,20am.
The man was parked up in his car when he was confronted by robbers who took his phone and cash.
Officers attended the scene quickly and chased two boys who were nearby, less than 10 minutes later they recovered a knife.
The two 15 years old have been detained on suspicion of robbery and taken into custody for questioning.
One boy has also been arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife and assaulting an officer.
The other boy was arrested for having drugs.
