TWO KNOWN offenders in Coventry have been jailed for breaching Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs).
In the city centre, Basharat Hussain was caught in breach of a CBO imposed in October last year.
The order was given to Hussain after repeated offending including anti-social behaviour and shop thefts.
Hussain was banned from the city centre under the order, so officers from the Hillfields team arrested him and brought him back to court.
On Tuesday January 14, Hussain was jailed for 16 weeks after pleading guilty to two breaches of his CBO.
Earlier this month, a second person was brought back before the court after repeatedly breaching her CBO, which banned her from visiting the Vernon Court area of Hillfields.
She was jailed for 10 months after partnership work between Coventry Local Policing Area and Citizen Housing.
