A man and a teenager are due in court today charged with the murder of Jaydon James.

Another teenager was also charged last week.

Jaydon, 16, was with friends in Deedmore Road, Wood End, when he was stabbed on Saturday, November 24 last year.

He died in hospital soon after being admitted.

On Friday, (September 21), detectives arrested Abdi Hussein, aged 20, of Fosehill Road, Coventry, and have now charged him with murder as well as the wounding of two other people during the same incident.

A 17-year-old was arrested in Leicestershire the same morning and charged with the same offences.

They have been remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Coventry today (Monday).

On Thursday, as we reported, another 17-year-old was charged with the same offences and has already appeared in court.

All three had already been arrested at earlier stages of the investigation before being re-arrested and charged.

Detective Inspector Stuart Mobberley from the force’s homicide unit, said: “Although we have now charged three people with Jaydon’s murder, our investigation continues and we still welcome information about the circumstances of his death.

“I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with my team.”

Detectives can be contacted via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, call 101 anytime or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
