TWO people had to be cut from a car following a late night crash on Sunday (September 28).
Emergency crews were called to the two-car collision, on the A45 in Eastern Green, shortly before midnight.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman, said: “There were three patients, all from the same car, one who managed to free themselves from the rear of the vehicle, but the two front seat passengers had to carefully be cut free with the assistance of the fire service.
“The rear seat passenger, a woman in her 40s, freed herself from the vehicle and was assessed and treated for chest, abdominal and pelvic injuries.
“The driver, a woman in her 30s, was treated for a fractured right arm whilst the passenger, a man in his 30s, was treated for chest pain and a left wrist fracture.”
All three were taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further assessment.
