TWO teenagers have been charged over a series of robberies in Coventry City Centre which saw victims threatened with knives or machetes and attacked.
The boys, aged 13 and 15, have been charged with conspiracy to rob in connection with 12 offences between April 2 and April 12.
Coventry officers identified links between the city centre robberies, with victims threatened as they had phones, bank cards, ear pods and cash stolen.
On April 13, plainclothes officers operating in the city centre spotted a group of suspects in Market Way, and four youths were arrested following a foot chase.
Two, aged 15 and 14, were released on bail with the other two charged.
The two youths charged were appearing before city magistrates this morning (April 15).
