COVENTRY City FC will show their support for ‘Unite For Access’ tonight when they face Maidstone United in the Emirates FA Cup.

The Sky Blues will host the stones at the Coventry Building Society Arena, where the club will back the campaign to improve access for disabled supporters.

The drive began on Saturday and runs until March 10, serving as an annual reminder of the importance of creating equitable access for all sports enthusiasts.

Earlier this month, Coventry City’s players engaged with members of the club’s Disabled Supporters Association (DSA) ahead of the ‘Unite For Access’ campaign.

The DSA aims to align with the club’s vision to enhance the matchday experience for all disabled supporters, including both wheelchair users and ambulant fans.

Owner and Executive Chairman Doug King said: “As a club, we believe all people should be able to attend live sports, regardless of disability.

“We are committed to making Coventry City accessible to all, and will continue to work hard to continue to improve the matchday experience for these supporters.”

The Sky Blues has implemented several measures to enhance the experience for disabled fans, including hosting Disabled Supporters Forums, enhancing the ticket purchasing process, and establishing the sensory room.
