THE DEATH of a man who was found in a car in The Coppice, Coventry at around 1.40pm on Friday (November 18) is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.

The man, who was in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, and police initially launched a murder enquiry.

However following a forensic post mortem carried out yesterday (November 19) they are no longer treating the man’s death as suspicious.

A 43-year-old woman who was arrested yesterday has been bailed pending further enquiries into a previous domestic-related assault.

Specialist officers have been supporting the man’s family and a West Midlands Police spokesperson said their thoughts remain with his loved ones during this sad time.
