CANDIDATES standing in a Coventry by-election this month have been confirmed.
An election was called for the Upper Stoke ward following the death of Sucha Singh Bains, the former Lord Mayor of Coventry.
The nominations for the ballot are Chrissie Brown (Green Party), Gurdev Singh Hayre (Labour), Jane Nellist (Socialist Alternative), and Gurdeep Singh Sohal (Conservatives).
The vote will be held on March 19, and ward residents can find details of polling stations via the council’s website coventry.gov.uk/elections.
