A VIRTUAL exhibition of work created by the Coventry and Warwickshire Society of Artists (CWSA) has gone live to the public today (Sunday).

The slideshow, available to view above on YouTube, showcases 38 beautiful pieces from 19 artists.

It lasts for just over seven minutes with each piece being on display on the screen for ten seconds, along with the artist’s and picture details.

The slideshow, featuring a variety of pieces including natural scenes, land and seascapes, animals, flowers and abstract pictures can be paused with a click.

CWSA President, Nancy Upshall launched the Virtual Exhibition.

She thanked everyone who contributed, adding she hoped to increase the amount of work on show next time around.

And she said: “There are good things on the horizon.

“In 2021, Coventry’s year as the City of Culture, we hope the next CWSA annual exhibition will be shown at East Lodge.

“I look forward to seeing everyone there, probably still masked.

“With a lot of luck we may even be allowed to hug each other.

“Best wishes, stay safe.”

Most of the pieces in the exhibition are available to buy and artists can be commissioned to create works for every occasion.

Contact details are on the YouTube slideslow.
