CLOTHING Coventry will be raising cash to fund its work through a vintage clothes sale and fete on Saturday (March 4).
The four-hour fete will get under way at Earlsdon Methodist Church at 10am.
Visitors will be able to enjoy activities including a cake sale, raffle and tombola.
The charity aims to support Coventrians who find themselves in clothing poverty.
It is estimated 336,000 tonnes of used clothing are discarded each year in the UK.
The charity is also looking for donations of season-appropriate clothes, as well as financial donations to help cover the £14,000-a-year cost of its storage facilities.
