VOTE for your favourite green space in the city – and it could win a fiercely contended international Green Flag People’s Choice Award!
Five of Coventry’s best loved parks are up for a Green Flags People’s Choice Award – but they need your help to win.
Longford Park, Caludon Castle Park, Allesley Park, Coombe Abbey Park and the War Memorial Park were each awarded Green Flags earlier this year after meeting high standards set out by Keep Britain Tidy.
Following on from this they are automatically entered into this year’s Green Flags People’s Choice Award. Competition is tough, with more than 2,223 other parks and green spaces across the world also eligible for the award.
Voting is quick and easy. Go to: greenflagaward.org/award-winners/. To vote for your favourite, simply find it on the Award winners’ map, open the park’s profile page and click the vote button.
Voting closes on Wednesday November 25 with the winners being announced in December. Read more about Coventry’s parks here.
